Actor Sylvester Stallone wrote the original Rocky script in three and a half days.
It’s the movie that put him on the map. Stallone bet on himself. He went up against producers and studios that didn’t want him to play the lead. Stallone’s genius mindset led to his massive success in Hollywood.
His story of making the first Rocky movie will now hit the screen, and it will be released in theaters this Fall.
“I’ve come this far. I refuse to break,” Stallone said. “I went back in and finished the last few pages of Rocky. I really felt like something got in my head because I’ve never been able to do it since.”
Stallone believes that God guided him through to complete the script. The reality is that God is always in control. God is involved in everything that a person does. No one can do anything on their own. Whether we admit it or not, God is the king in everything.
The Rocky film franchise changed the game. It all began in 1976. Amazingly, it’s been 50 years since this iconic sports drama film made an impact. Of the five movies, nothing comes close to the first. That’s the thing about film franchises. It’s hard to surpass the original’s success and storyline.
In the 1980s, Stallone and Arnold Schwarnegger were competitors in the film industry. We don’t know if the rivalry was serious or playful, but one thing is for sure: you can’t have one without the other. Stallone and Arnie are likable figures. Their movies, work ethic in the gym, and performance made people want to buy tickets to see them.
Spirituality is key in life. In any profession a human being is involved in, it’s always to go to the Creator and tell him about the plans. Stallone achieved his dreams, and he hasn’t slowed down. Stallone doesn’t believe in retirement. He never said it, but his actions and age prove that he’s still going. Stallone is 80 years old.
